dangerous under GW bus terminal overpass
When riding back into NYC from GW, i find it scarey to ride thru bus terminal. Very dark , no dedicated bike lane and traffic all over. An accident just waiting. Does anyone have any info if that section will be safety enhanced. ??
J-walking
Am i getting old and crotchety...or is this one of the worst ideas since allowing the chaos of Fly E-bikes? Or the Harley Davdsons in the bike lane? https://gothamist.com/news/im-walking-here-nyc-on-track-to-legalize-jaywalking

Who in NYC can fix scratches on a carbon fiber frame?
Today I made the mistake of leaning my bike against a low flagstone wall and when it fell over the stone put some nasty scratches on my frame. They are mostly superficial but they are unsightly. The bike (Trek Domane) is only a couple of months old and is in otherwise perfect condition.
Does anyone have any suggestions about who in NYC can fix these scratches?
Thank you, Bill
PS: Scratch pictures attached.

Here is the link to order the newly revised Central Park Laps jersey.
Anyone can order; you don't have to do laps in CP to enjoy it!
A tip of the helmet to Esther
Like many cyclists I often "meet-up" at Grant's Tomb and, on many occasions, have the need/opportunity to visit the restroom up at Claremont Park. I have always been pleased that although the fixtures are maybe a century old in there -- the "Parkies" keep the place clean and even well-stocked with TP!
Today, out of character, I "car-topped" up to GT rather than ride up, as usual, from home in Kips Bay. I'd done a hard ride Saturday and figured to cut down the total miles for today's NYCC ride going to Haverstraw.
Trying to understand seat post offset impact on reach.
FYI -- Roe Jan Ramble
Those who've been on a NYCC Berkshires weekend are probably also somewhat familiar with the NY side as some of the routes head "over the mountain".
The Roe Jan Ramble (see: https://www.roejanramble.org/#welcome ) is an event ride scheduled for Sept. 21 that has no entry fee but does ask for donations to help support the Harlem Valley Rail Trail -- an amenity you may have used getting to/from the Berkshires.
This "event" started very modestly with simple "pedal-pusher" rides that has evolved into a significant regional "event".
