Bought a Garmin 810 and was particulary interested in using the TCX file format which I understand provides a sort of cue sheet option wen doing a new route.  Noticed on my ride yesterday that cues weren't getting displayed  and after googling found some forums from last year that Garmin removed the support of this option when going from the 800 to 810 series. Is this correct?  Thought the whole point of TCX was the cue sheet option.

I had an attack of chain suck a mile and a half outside of Park Ridge. They came and picked me up, repaired the bike, and got me back on the road. It is a nice shop and the help is much appreciated. 

I have not received an email regarding if the group is riding this Saturday (March 15). Any updates?

Roads are thawing-drying as we speak but I thought I'd post a couple of 100' per mile "gravity" cues for those who need to get in a hill regimen ... particularly when the GWB is closed off.

The freshly posted Illington, a 50 mile/5000' loop out of White Plains thru Pleasantville, Croton Harmon and Armonk.  30 minutes from Grand Central and you can bail halfway at Croton Harmon.  Frequent trains from both points at all times.

Due to the fact that I don't want to ride in a wind chill of 10 degrees.  Hope to see you next week. 

Im going to take a 3 day trip on my road bike. I want to attach a stem mounted rack to carry a change of clothes etc. I'm concerned that the clamp may damage the post. Does anyone have any experience with this?
