River Road Hill Repeats Moved to 8 AM tomorrow
Just a reminder, hills will occur at 8 AM tomorrow to beat the heat.
Thank you to Charles Lam and Norma Sax
On our Deja Vu ride to Nyack today I broke a spoke just after we started north on Knickerbocker Road. Norma, my co-leader and Charles took the group on the rest of the ride and did a great job. I was able to get to Bicycle Workshop in Tenafly and they were able to cut a new spoke to size, install it and true my wheel, all for an extremely reasonable price.
I then went straight to Nyack and met or group at Runcible Spoon.
Thanks to the team spirit and cooperation of our fellow members, the ride was not ruined and thanks to the ace mechanics at Bicycle Workshop, I was fixed up and back on the road in plenty of time to meet my group and have a good ride myself.
Off to the Market B15.5 ride. Attn. Waitlisters

Women's Development Series - final race this Sunday. Win a Specialized Amira Frameset
Hi All!
The final race in the CRCA's Women's Development Series p/b Hatchmap is taking place this Sunday in Central Park. This series is specifically designed for Cat3 and Cat4 Women to gain race experience. It's a wonderful opportunity for women to get involved with racing, and is also the final chance to race in Central Park this year. Lots of NYCC women have taken part this year.
If you're already a CRCA racing member, you don't even need to register before the race. Season pass holders race for free, and it's just $5 entry for CRCA members who don't hold a season pass.
