Hi all --

I'm looking for a Tandem parter (or a few) to ride with. I'm pretty experienced, have my own tandem bike, and have been riding for a number of years -- I just did the 5 Boro Bike Tour in May.

Only thing is the rider needs to be the leader - I am blind, so I'll be at the back!

I live around 125 and Broaway, near Columbia, where I teach at the Business School, and I'm up for rides to anywhere, anytime.

We need to ship two bikes to the middle of Iowa for RAGBRAI. I have no idea how one goes about a thing like this. I searched the message board and found a link to Bike Flights - is that still the recommended thing? I just ride over to a bike shop and then ... what happens, exactly?

I'm training for the NJ Gran Fondo and I'm taking advantage of the training rides available from Morristown throughout the summer.  However late in August I am taking a family vacation and roadtrip, with a stop around Niagara. Ideally I'd like to get a long'ish ride(for me) 75/80miles -  does anyone have any suggestions for nice scenic and safe routes or local contacts to reach out to?

The B16 ride to Poughkeepsie and the proposed B16 alternate to Wassaic are canceled due to the weather/wet roads.

I was curious today. How much drag is saved by riding in the drops. Seems like a freebie.
