I wanted to say thank you to Shawn Powell of SP Carbon Bikes. First, he offered a generous discount to NYCC members on Garmin 500 and 800s which I took advantage of. But moreover, not only did he kindly install it for free (in his cool Williamsburg factory where he builds his handsome carbon bikes - the fixie is GORGEOUS!), he also took a look at my bike and tuned up a few things. He was professional, gracious and VERY kind. Thank you, Shawn.
