UWS Tandem Partner Wanted for Visually Impaired Professor

Submitted by sheenaiyengar on Sun, 04/15/2018 - 7:16pm

Hello There!

My name is Sheena, I am a Professor at Columbia and I'm looking for a cycling partner! I own a tandem bike and have been riding for a few years with folks from NYCC. You'd obviously have to ride in the front :)

The only requirement I have is that you are at least 5'8", as the bike is set for someone at least that tall.

I live right off of Riverside Drive, so it's quite convenient to get on and off the bike path on the West Side Highway.

I love to ride in the mornings but can be flexible on time.

If you're interested or want to learn more, please send me an email at [email protected]

Best,

Sheena

Closure on this difficult issue

These are times of change: white privilege vs black lives matter, serial abuse relating to public figures, dysfunctional leadership on high.

We have just gone through our own trouble right here in River City. Each of these themes are reflected in what our club has passed through. Societal awareness of these issues has moved this process quickly to abrupt action. Perhaps only a short while ago it might have been swept under the rug.

Rider Down This Afternoon on 9W
