Wanted: Cyclists for Morning C Rides in Central Park
Would anybody be interested in early morning C rides in Central Park?
- NOT a Club ride;
- starting about 6:00 or 6:30 a.m.;
- about equal to a C14 pace, a little more or less depending;
- twice around the Park Drive, about 12 miles;
- takes about an hour, plus however long it takes you to get to the Park;
- preferably start from East 72nd Street entrance, but this is negotiable;
- probably two to three times a week, depending on weather, personal preference, and everything else.
Good company, good conversation, and a GREAT way to start the day: everyone will envy your bright alertness when they are still staring into their morning coffee!
Please email me if interested.

MS100 NY - Any riders?
Curious if anyone is riding the MS100 this Sunday? Specifically wondering about the 100 mile course - I'd love to find some friends to ride along with!
Thanks,
Scott
Staten Island rides and routes?
I am considering a move to Bay Ridge. I am wonderinghow good the biking is in Staten Island, if there are rides or routes that are challenging and fun. If there are, I could simply cross the Verrazano Narrows bridge, because 9W would be so far away as to be close to impossible.
Thank you for any input.
Henry Joseph
News of the passing of the mortal coil that was Henry Joseph.
He was a long-standing NYCC member, riding with many of us through the years.
Henry was kind and gentle, but fierce when defending social justice vis-à-vis politics.
