I live in the Upper West Side. 

I have a 1987 Cannondale "Black Lightning" road bike that needs a new home. It is in pristine condition and has a 54 or 54.5 frame, Campagnolo entry-level triple crankset, Ultegra brakes, Wolber rims, 32 hole 14mm 3-cross lacing, Continental 4000 23mm tires. I measured the chain and it is still OK. There is room under the brake calipers for 25mm and maybe 28mm tires.

Proceeds of sale will be donated to Kid's Bike Club.

I have a friend who is new to cycling and interested in starting with a hybrid bike (mostly for riding in the city). Basic specs include: 56cm, multi-speed, and flat handlebars. Hi everyone,

I'm Jonathan Aitken, My wife and I are moving to NYC in 2 weeks from Vancouver, Canada. I just joined NYCC (yes, even before I moved).  I am currently in a bike club here (Lotus cycling). I just upgraded from the B group the A group here after training all winter.  I cant wait to ride with the B group.  But, I am looking for a bike to ride in NY.  I am going to be Bi-Coastal for a while and want to get a road bike to keep in NY.  

Ideally disc brakes and electronic shifting.  

So if anyone has an extra one they are willing to part with, or has a good suggestion for a used bike, let me know.
