Wanted to buy: bike

Submitted by lodgemich on Mon, 04/02/2012 - 1:27pm

I'm a C Sig member, but not an inexperienced rider. So I'm looking for a good used bike in the $500 to $600 range that will see me over steep hills and deep valleys and rides of 60 miles plus. I'm a woman, 5'2"

FS: Shimano DuraAce 7900 Wheels (Great condition!)

Submitted by ICho on Sun, 04/01/2012 - 2:54pm

Selling a set of Shimano DuraAce wheels (model WH-7900-C24-CL). I bought this back in the fall and have put approximately 800 miles on them since October. Never crashed and in great condition! Selling because I realized that I did not need two sets of aluminum clinchers and liquidating some of my less-used gear.

Please note, that these are the clincher (NOT tubeless) versions of the wheel. Exceptionally stiff and light (<1400g for the set). Hubs can be taken apart and cared for at home (uses cone bearings instead of cartridge).

They are compatible with a clip-on aerobar.  They are too wide for me; I recently purchased a 40cm bar and I dont need this one. The bars new retail for $300.  The bars can be picked up on the Upper West Side in the evenings or by Madison Square Garden during weekdays.  PLeae call MIke at 917-757-4119 or email at [email protected].
