Hi. Just curious how rides are created and made into cue sheets? Are most of these rides measured with a Garmin? If anyone could share with me the steps involved, that would be great! Thanks.

I do it the old-fashioned

I do it the old-fashioned way: a map and a ruler. Once I have it roughed out on a cue sheet, I scout it and make any necessary changes and corrections. County maps are usually best.

old fashioned way

Doing it in old-fashioned way is much nicer. Besides you are able to put your own creativity and personal customization to the cue sheets. Besides, any changes can easily be made if you are going to do it the old way. Cue sheets must be made reliably because it will entail probable routes for the riders.
