it's hard to argue with 80% chance of rain at 7 and 8pm. game off.

the ice skating social is re-scheduled to next tuesday night, november 23. 630pm. same bat time, same bat channel, just a different bat date.

this is a reminder for you to unpack your skates and sharpen them this weekend for tuesday night's ice skating social.

here are last year's pictures. i can't promise cake like last year; maybe hot chocolate or kati rolls afterward.

Looking forward to it! I've been past the Bryant Park pond and it's neat to have this early "winter wonderland" to enjoy; the night lights are really terrif.

weather call

hi everyone,

tuesday night's weather is looking wet as of right now. please check the message board tomorrow/tuesday afternoon/evening for a game on/off call.

if the game is off, let's try again for next tuesday, november 23. hopefully nycc'ers haven't left town for thanksgiving yet.

morning cross training

this is in response to basil's video (b/c i'm not sure where my reply will fall in the thread)

nice and empty in the morning! i'll be starting up my cross training ice skating mornings when it starts getting impossible to wake up for cold intervals. stay tuned :-)

Ice rink open through Feb 27

and this is in response to CCM's response to Basil's video - posted using "Reply" button at bottom right of CCM's "video response post"!

FYI - I spoke t o the guy there. Unlike previous years (when ti closed down in December(?) due to "Fashion-related" use of the space?), ice rink season will extend to Feb 27, 2011.
