From the League of American Bicyclists (NYCC is a member):

The bicycling movement lost its biggest champion, Chairman James Oberstar (D-MN) and more than 30 members of the Congressional Bike Caucus in the House. Representatives Earl Blumenauer (D-OR) and Peter DeFazio (D-OR), other leading bicycling supporters, both retained their seats.

An error in L.A.B.'s chart of bike friendly senators who lost

Thanks for posting those links, Grace. The lists are dispiriting but informative. You may want to call an error in the one of the Senators to L.A.B. so it can be corrected. Blanche Lincoln (AR) is a Democrat, not a Republican as L.A.B. lists her. (Granted, her conservative voting record was far more in line with the G.O.P. Given the dispute about the color of our message board, it might be noted she was among the bluest of the Blue Dogs.)

Of course, Blanche will soon be a former senator.
