Twice upon a time, I've happened to get a patch kit containing patches that are more rubbery than most and all black. They seem to adhere better than the patches with orange around the edge. I've looked in five shops to try to find more, to no avail. Anyone know where to find them (online or in person)?

I have some that fit that description in a patch kit from Conrad's - I think it was in the swag bag for ENY a couple of years ago.
Yup, I had the same kit from the same source, so that was my first stop when attempting to replenish. They did not have that type of patch any more.
The other place I got them was in Montreal.
