Saturday. 9:30AM. Boathouse. You know in the best of times I can't ride uphill worth spit. You know my route features uphills. Come laugh at me, scorn me, give me no sympathy for having been off my bike--in fact done NOTHING physical--since Nov. 5, whatever, but come prepared to await my arrival atop the hills. 57 miles. 19MPH...if I can. I think I can. I think I can. I, I, I....

Mordeai, you continue to astonish me w/ your Web-iness.

"Of course, that reference has nothing whatsoever to do with me wherein it states, ""The barely breathing creatures can lose up to 40 per cent of their body weight before warmer springtime weather rouses them back to life.""

I, uh, um, ah, how do I say this? Oh, right, here it is: in the winter I get fat.

Others reading this will want to know I forwarded to Mordecai by U.S. mail the NYCC certificate sent me, without my opening it, for being named Retrogrouch, 2006. As I wrote him on the envelope, it was sent to me my mistake."
