I heard this past week that it will be another couple of months until the south side path is open again.

One construction worker told me yesterday that the south side might be open by this weekend.

Saturday 3:00 p.m.
Don't know why they chose the middle of the afternoon, but word has come through from Port Authority to Transportation Alternatives that the south side path will reopen at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 14. So when we go out on ENY in the morning we have to tackle the stairs, but if you slow up your return a little you might be able to use the south path to come home.
