I'm thinking of getting specialized carbon road shoes with shimano ultegra pedals. can anyone give me any feedback on these two components?

Steve,
Been using those pedals for about a month now. They're easy to get into and out of. Easy to work with. No noticable increase in weight. (though you may want to actually weigh them and compare for yourself. ) As I'm thinking about the new specialized carbon custom shoe, let me know how they workout for you.

I have the specialized road comp shoes (but not the carbon ones) and ultegra pedals. I've been happy with them.
