As a newbie, I purchased a pair of Specialized Motodiva Comp MTB shoes not realizing that I should have selected road bike shoes instead. I used them 5 times in spin class before the instructor explained the difference to me.

I don't want these shoes to collect dust in my closet since they are barely used and of high quality. If you're a female MTB enthusiast who wears a size UK 40 /US 9, please contact me. They are for sale for $60. Thanks!!

use them on your road bike

You can use these MTB shoes for riding your road bike -- do you know that? Especially for a newbie, it can be quite suitable, since the MTB shoe allows for a recessed cleat, and you will walk in them almost normally and not like a duck (in real road shoes). Consider this and you may not need to sell them.

Hi,

Thanks for your tip. Since I wasn't too crazy about their weight, I actually purchased road shoes and have LOOKS on the bike now. I will continue to use MTB shoes in spin class if I can't find a buyer, though.

Thanks again.

??

"I apologize if I'm being sensitive, but how am I to interpret your answer? 1. Sarcasm over how one ""looks"" on a bike or 2. You really think Look system is best for biking.

I'm new to cycling and am trying to learn as much as I can from others who have more experience. You don't need to make it harder for me to ask for help in a public forum."
