Escape New York, NYCC's largest event of the year, is on October 14th. There are many great things about leading a ride during ENY including rest stops with food and drink, free goodies, and great routes. You also get to ride for free and we'll even buy you lunch on the scouting/volunteer ride. The B ride leaders have really stepped forward but I still need some A and C ride leaders. We need experienced ride leaders for the following rides:

A22 Century:
A18 Century:

C14 Metric to Rockland Lake
C14 50 miles to Piermont
C12 50 miles to Piermont

I also need volunteers to sweep the century route and the metric century route. Sweeps need to have good knowledge of the route and the ability to help riders in distress.

If you'd like to volunteer, please send me an email by clicking on the envelope above and let me know which ride you would like to lead.

The scouting/volunteer ride is on September 30th.

B Rides Escape New York

"If one wishes to join a B group for the Escape New York ride, does one just show up or should you ""sign up"" for the B group as well as the ride in advance."

Either

You can just show up, but if you register in advance (for a lower fee) there's a place on the registration form to select which ride you'll do.
