Kudos to the Times for publicizing bike commuting, and to the article's protagonist for joining those who get where they're going more quickly and cheaply while getting some exercise, too.

However, it is worthy of note that not a single cyclist depicted in any of the accompanying photographs was wearing a helmet, and that many of the moves attributed to cyclists in the story were of questionable legality and safety.
