Also known as Randonneuring: Randonneuring is long-distance unsupported endurance cycling. This style of riding is non-competitive in nature, and self-sufficiency is paramount. When riders participate in randonneuring events, they are part of a long tradition that goes back to the beginning of the sport of cycling in France and Italy. Friendly camaraderie, not competition, is the hallmark of randonneuring.

PBP = Paris Brest Paris
BMB = Boston Montreal Boston for more info

FYI you don't need to be a fast rider to complete a Brevet, just a fit and healthy rider! I completed my 600 with 20 minutes to spare. But if you are a fast rider you will be able to sleep more on the longer events. More sleep often makes them more enjoyable.

sorry i did not give more details

But anyone who is interested in doing long distance
next season is welcome [all levels] PBP only happens every 4 years so to think about it now is not a bad idea
On these rides you will learn and do what you need to in order to finish these long rides
learn group riding skills and get faster
if you are not skilled in these things now come along and you will learn
