Volunteer coordinator needed

Highly organized, extroverted, friendly person needed to become the volunteer coordinator for the Escape New York Century Ride on October 14.

As the coordinator your job duties will include, recruit the 40 volunteers we need to help out on the day of the ride, schedule the troops by considering when people are available, whether or not they have a car and what they'd like to do.

Recruitment has been done by posting messages on the message board, the NYCC website, and the e-weekly bulletin as well as contacting previous year’s volunteers or you could just call all your friends! As the coordinator you will be responsible to make sure all the posts are manned and ultimately you will be the one that makes this year’s event go off without a hitch!

This position is not for the faint of heart and mean people need not apply, but if you like to have fun, you know a lot of people or are looking for the opportunity to make a bunch of new friends then come, join us!
