Leaving Queens, Continental Ave/71st Ave station (E,F,R,V) at 9:00, 33 miles to the beach at Bayville, 32 miles back. Should be back around 2:30. A beautiful ride, and you won't have to carry your bike up any steps over any bridges. No maps or cue sheets, no stops until Bayville, so bring enough water and pocket food to get you there. Any questions email me, otherwise just post that you'll be there. If no one replies I may leave earlier.

Anyone coming in from Manhattan?
Is anyone from Manhattan planning on joining this ride tomorrow to bayville? was thinking of riding out to continental ave from midtown east. let me know if anyone would like to join.

We're on for tomorrow at 9
I'll meet you at the park on Queens Blvd at the Yellowstone Blvd/Jewel Ave intersection. Use the exit at the back of the train, south side, cross the street to the park, ride through the park to the end at Yellowstone Blvd. I'll be sitting at the benches. If you are riding out from the BH it takes about 45 minutes. See you all there.

Thanks again Margaret for leading a great ride. The route you chose was excellent with the only major complaint is having too many down hills on the route. ;)
