Does anyone know when they allow parking @ lake Sabago? )I vaguely remember someone once told me it's @9am)....I'm looking to ride early up there tues. morning(the 16 mi loop)...or where else can I park on the nj side of the GW. and bike?.....Thanks.....

parking in Englewood Cliffs, Rockland & Harriman Pk
1. Go North from the GWB about a mile on Hudson Terrace--the only right hand turn before Palisades Ave is at a dip towards St. Peter's College
after you go under the Pal Pky, turn right towards Allsion Park where you can park free until dusk.
2. Sometimes I have driven to Stony Point on 9W(parked in a shopping ctr lot) and it's an easy cycling loop to Bear Mtn, Perkins, Seven Lakes Dr, etc.
3. Within Harriman there is parking (nominal fees) at Bear Mtn, Perkins, Tioroti, Lake Welch, etc.
4. You can also park in Sloatsburg at the opposite end of Seven Lakes Dr

Thanks much appreciatied....seems loke those roads are the best match for race venues like Lake Placid ironman.....
