"Does anyone know the (exact) distance around Tompkins Sq. Park (following the sidewalk around the outer fence)? Or, is there anyone in the area with a cycling computer who might be willing to ride a lap around the park for me to measure it out?
I've been using it as a ""running track"", but would love to get an exact distance on it.
Thanks!"
Slightly OT: Anyone know the distance around Tompkins Sq. Park?

Bah. That's about .06 less than my measurement (uncalibrated). Thanks!

Side note: I'm assuming you used a pedometer and walked the route to get that map, or is there same way to input points into google and have it spit out a full measurement?
EDIT: I figured it out. Looks like theres a bit of wiggle room depending on where the points land on the map, so my original measurment is probably pretty close to correct.
That's a ver cool google feature; thanks for pointing me to it.

Use the link below and follow the instructions- a great tool for any rout mapping, though the Elevation kind of sucks.
