"On this morning's ride, I found a PATH card (NJ/NY version of a Metro card) lying in the street. I used it this morning and it had 13 rides left on it. Sweet! And to think I almost did not pick it up; I had circled back for it.

Here's a few more...

Last week I found one of those blue-tooth, Trekkie ear piece thing a majigs for cell phones. It was at dusk and a flash silver, with an interesting shape that caught my eye. Add to that find a hard to miss, bright pink ""super ball""; I liked this nostaglic item better.

Last summer I found a stash of cash, $12. My guess it was dropped by someone while reaching for their keys before driving away. My largest roadside money score was $21.

""And they pay you cash, which is just as good as money."" - Yogi Berra

One more: I found a really big (toy) spanner just before at the ENY century rest stop at Rockland lake. I offered to repair folks bikes with it, but got no offers. I wonder why. I think the photo with me and the tool is somewhere in nycc photo archives."

Speaking of Yogi, I once found a fork in the road, (stainless steel flatwear), but I didn't take it.

you found a big spammer?

Hopefully you told them that spam is completley annoying and a waste of (cyber)space.
