So it would seem like Tom Boonen is clealry the cutest rider on this year's Tour. Although previously unnoticed by me, Cyril Dessel not only conquered the first French Pyrhenees, he also conquered a bit of my heart. He is #2 on my heartthrob list of the Tour 2006. If he keeps the Yellow jersey for more than 3 stages, he will displace Tom at the zenith of my pantheon of Tour 2006 cuties.
WHO DO YOU THINK SHOULD WIN CUTIE OF THE TOUR??
Cutest rider on Le Tour
"Some on this message board swooned over Jan Ullrich in the spring in his new do. And how can anyone named ""Cyril"" be cute? He has a fat bottom too.
I think the true cuties of the Tour are the podium ladies. They are so artistic and yet so graceful when they hand over the flowers and the stuffed lions...
You gotta love the Tour! It's off to the Mountains...
"
George Hincapie will second that!
This post so made me laugh this morning! Thank you!
I still like Lance best. Sure, he's probably a total anal ex-triathlete who never laughs (yes they are cute, but soooooo anal) but he is beyond hot! Ivan Basso is little but he has an incredible face like a Serbo-Croatian poet I know. And Jan Ullrich may have a fat bottom, but boys, it's working for him! There is some X factor in these superstars that is so lacking in the pack now. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Karol,
Uhhhhhh you should check out the picture of Lance from Wednesday on www.pinkisthenewblog (my favorite gossip site).... he is standing with Matthew McConaughey and they have their shirts off and their shorts REALLY LOW and damn I don't know which one I would throw to the ground first! :) Arrest me now! Then the other day it was Lance and Jake Gyllenhaal and Matthew I am telling you... is it getting hot in here????
I, for one, am a fan of men with boo-TAY.

Gonchar is H!O!T!. Especially with the nostril huggers and the drool dripping off his TT bike
I figured I've already been mean enough lately, so I was trying to be nice...but do I really want a poster of Sirhy-Sergey Honchar-Gonchar?
Kara, I'm trying to register for that site and can't get in. Can you post 'em like Thor?
And, yeah, Thor is the one hot guy in the tour. Boonen and the Z Man are like the sweet boys next door. I like a little bootay, like Claudette, and a lot of bone structure.
Please forgive me. I did a couple Ironman triathlons over the last two years and the A Classic Sig and I am sorta chilling now and I have way to much pent up energy.
Gotta go move the car to the other side of the street...
Ciao, boyzzzz and girlzzz!
"I'm a Floyd fan all the way. Not only do I think he is cute, but I like what others have to say about him.
example
Overheard: ""He is always laughing, smiling and he's very funny. He's a very optimistic person. It's very positive to have a leader like this, for the rest of the team and everyone around him. He is happy about life. That's really important to create a positive ambiance together on the team."" -- John Lelangue, Phonak director, describing team leader Floyd Landis
"
Wow ... nice post anonymous! a little Thor could be good for ones health! Yumm!
(I think tapering for NY tri is making me out of control!)
yep, kara, that will do it every time! check out a thread i am going to post for women cyclists and triathletes who want to train together.
karol
Love a guy with a name like THOR. One of my close friends from residency just had a baby boy, and although they've named him something else, Aunt Claudette will persist in calling him Thor.
I gotta go anonymous on this one, Karol!
But if I were so inclined:

Okay, I'm REALLY showing my age here, but I used to love these print ads from the late 1980s. I can't believe I found it on the first Google. By the way, for all you youngsters -- it's Rebecca Twigg.

A classic. Nice, Doug!
I removed it becasue it was too mean! :)
Thank you Doug and Peter, I loved your posts. I'm needing some chick role models at the moment and this so helps.
Best,
K
Here's another one. Look at the concentration on her face!

RASMUSSEN!!!!
"Is this a pun? ""Maillot jeune"" means young jersey. Maillot jaune is the jellow jersey."
He looks good from the back, too...

Maybe I could get a job changing wheels for the riders?
http://www.carolineyang.com/cycling/2006/stage_10/index.php?current_page=4
yeah, there are lots of services I'd offer, and they can be flexible about how I get paid...
Boonen is dreamy. But Levi, c'mon...

We need to find some good profile photos of the riders', er, physiques. Those would get my vote.

The absolute handsomest guy on the tour?
You are all crazy !
See:

We want more!
My god! You mean that the absolute handsomest guy also rides the fastest bike in New York? All you other guys, you might as well hang it up and go back to training wheels right now.
That *is* really handsome. The only thing spoiling it is that tall thing (wearing red and black) standing behind it.
:)

Not le tour de Runcible Spoon. ;^)
This guy and his pack patched my flat tire at an Ironman camp in Lake Placid last year and I didn't know who he was. When I got back on the bike, a rider comes up and was like, Do you know who that was? That's Troy Jacobson! He's famous.

Okay, he's not on the tour, but he can ride a bike and he's a really nice guy, too!
Yah but in defense of us now insecure NYCC guys, most of us can ride a bike and are nice guys too!
