I've seen previous threads about cycling in Italy, but my question is a little different. I am doing a workshop in Florence for a week, but it is only a few hours each day. Does anyone know anything about bicycle rentals and nice routes/maps/etc. outside of Florence? TIA.

Italian Bike company -Cicleposse
I did two self-guided trip with Cicloposse. The trips were in Tuscany and Umbria. Their office is in a small town outside Montapucciano. They probably could help you out with a rental and some qsheets. Ask for Marco. Their website is www.cicloposse.com
