"If you ride in Westchester let me recommend you ""Antoinette Patisserie"" in Hastings as a place for a food stop.

It's at the southern end of the town on Warburton. The owner is Guus a young guy, who is a very fast road cyclist. He's trying to build the place as a hangout for cyclists ... sort of the Runcible Spoon of the east."

Modified in the late 20th century ...

"

""They dined on mince, and slices of quince,
Which they ate with a runcible spoon""
(From ""The Owl and the Pussycat"")

They dined on pork which they ate with a spork, well, hmmm, missing a certain je ne sais quoi..."

Spork

"Perhaps we ought to open a place for cyclists and call it ""Spork?"" Or maybe ""Spoke?""

great place, they make good expresso and have fine cakes

its hard to spot . its on the west side (hudson side)
if your heading north and you hit Washington ave you went three hundred feet to far,
the only other very very good espresso ,capuchino place is in tarrytown called coffee labs, across from the 7-11 on main street and around the corner from the only bike shop in the whole rivertown area.
