A big thanks to Basil Ashmore for organizing the West Point weekend this year and keeping it running smoothly all four days.
Also thanks to Fred Steinberg for tirelessly arranging rides and providing cue sheets. I more than got my money's worth in riding.

I'm constantly amazed by and grateful for the efforts of the volunteers of this club. It was an incredible weekend and went off without a hitch. Thanks to everyone responsible.

What a great, great weekend. Best Fourth I've had in NY! As Tim said, thanks to Basil and Fred for organizing a fantastic event. But let me also add my thanks to all of the weekend's ride leaders (especially Christy, Jody, Marcy, Mark, Ted, and Tim) who kept the rides safe and fun. I've learned a ton from you guys and enjoyed every ride I was on.
Too bad the calendar conspires against the trip next year. Hope it's on for 2008!

Seriously a great fun weekend with some fantastic rides, thanks to everyone who I rode, swam, danced, ate and drank with for making it such a memorable weekend ... now if we could only get that quarry re-located to the upper west side..

july 4th-a weekend & fireworks
i echo everyone's kudos to basil and all the other members who helped may the weekend the fabulous one it was. it truly takes a team.
and yes, we can figure out a way to make it happen next year.
least we forget, thanks, tim, for the great fireworks welcome on the nycc board. great job.
