The full route of this ride is 80 miles.

There is one planned stop at mile 35 before any climbing, then a water/restroom stop at mile 52 (Tioretti Cir/Harriman State Park).

With such limited 'refueling' opportunities it is imperative that participants bring pocket food: bars, gels, energy drink mix, etc to get them through the ride.

We will return to the city from Peekskill via Metro North. Bring your railpass.

There are options to flatten the route and shorten it to 65 mi.

After the ride......

Given the limited opportunities to acquire anything resembling real food on this ride after 35 miles, some of us will likely grab a meal at the Station Bar to fill our empty bellies. They have rather good food, lots of beer, and both outdoor and indoor seating from which you can keep an eye on your bike. Consider joining us if you prefer getting on a train with a full tank to craving nutrition for 1 1/2 hours on the Metro North
