Instead of Cold Spring, this ride will end in Beacon. Start is Boathouse, 9:00 AM. 80 miles total with just over 6000 vertical feet of climbing.

Sunday look like the best option.

Sorry to hear about your injury John. Hope you feel better soon.

Vote for Day Preference

My vote doesn't count due to not being able to ride as a result of the injury to my shoulder from being doored last night.

Sunday

My vote is for Sunday but I'll do it Saturday if there is a sentiment for that.

Sunday

Same for me: Sunday seems better- (but would prefer Saturday if weather were to turn better). When/how will we get a decision?

Ditto that - see you Sunday

Unlike the two past Saturdays, I do not see any window of opportunity to ride with this Saturday's forecast. After talking with John, we concluded the ride shall occur on Sunday.

This is a definitive decision intently done now rather than later. Enjoy your evening of cohorting, drinking, clubbing or whatever and rest assured tomorrow morning, with you alarm clock turned off (if you choose) that we will ride Sunday.

Thanks!

Thanks to all involved for the decisive move on calling the ride. It helps a lot to be able to make arrangements. And I'm ready now for riding on the nice day of the weekend after a couple of weekends of the opposite! (still had fun rides!).

Who should I contact about possibly picking up the ride at Riverside at 122nd (or at the bridge)? It may help me in working out my childcare arrangements for the day to leave later.

See you on the road,

David

STS Sunday ride

Virtually all groups are changing their starting location due to the number of runners that will be around the Boathouse. Can I suggest doing the same. Start either at 72nd and Riverside (at the statue) or Tavern on the Green Parking lot. Keep the time the same.

Sunday

I suggest we still meet at the boathouse but we leave promptly and I mean exactly at 9:00am. But I will see what others say.

9:00 AM, prompt departure

The A-STS 23 ride will meet at the park benches directly across the roadway from the boathouse. The ride sign up sheet goes back in my pocket at 8:59 am and we depart promptly at 9:00am.

This is due to the foot race in Central Park, as detailed here:

Thanks.

Peter
