not a member yet but would love to join a ride this saturday in central park! i want to take it easy ,it will be my first day on a bike since november and i have no experience riding with a group?thank you

"If you can commit to riding every Saturday for 10 weeks or so, you can sign up this Saturday for the C-SIG. That's the spring training series that will teach you group riding skills and show you the good routes around this area. This Saturday is the self-classification ride in Central Park - 3 laps at your own speed, timed. Get to meet the leaders. You should pre-register by going to: http://www.nycc.org/rides_sig_c.shtml
Read about the C-SIG and scroll down to the link for pre-registration.
If you don't want to make the commitment to do the C-SIG, you might have to wait until Sunday, March 18 to join Maggie Clarke for her annual spring C-ride series."
