"Received an email from an Iowa Ragbrai friend early this week regarding a friend of his, Earl Hill, who had a lot of problems biking over/ontothrough/past road kill. 'Marty - I don't remember if I had told you of the 3 incidents where my friend, Earl, tangled with wildlife on his bicycle. He got a call a couple of days ago from a young lady in New York City who said she was writing an article for I don't know who. She said ""are you the Earl Hill who hit a red fox when riding his bicycle?"" He said, ""yes"". She said ""did you go down?"" He said ""no-not that time."" She said ""maybe you will tell me more."" He told her that a year before he hit the fox he had hit a raccoon and that time he went down hard and he was on crutches for 2 weeks. She was still interested in his stories so he told her that the year before the raccoon he got tangled up with 2 skunks and there was a lot to that story. Don't know who that article was for- I wonder if you will ever run across it. Because he has an office to run these incidents all happened at night. Earl has very good lights.
