Hi All,

I recently ventured onto the roads of Long Island for the first time.
From the Rockaways I took Broadway and then Merrick out to Islip.
Merrick is pretty darn straightforward but broken up by too many traffic lights etc.

Is this the 'normal' route out or am I missing something even more ride friendly?
