I work for Kipperman Casting, a commercial casting agency in New York City. We are currently working on a commercial for American Express and looking for female bike riders to play a bike messenger. Ideally these women are attractive, edgy, and 20-25ish in age. They must be comfortable riding a bike through Manhattan traffic.
This is for a non-union American Express commercial that shoots Friday, January 13th. It pays $1500 for up to a ten hour day. The commercial will run in Australia for one year.
We would love to have anyone who fits this profile come in for an audition tomorrow, Thursday January 5th at our office.

Seriously, go hire a real bike messenger. Don't tell me. You are looking for a trendy, yuppie-looking, StarBucks looking type of who so happen to know how to ride a fixed gear bike, hmmm, with makeup on???? :)

Believe me, you will find more than one :). Now we are talking about money, baby......and not about what kind of a bike and how many gears! It's about looks and an ability to ride a 2 wheeler...
