I'm wondering whether anyone else on this board has had a vasectomy. I had one last week, and let's just say I won't be on a bicycle for at least another week or so anyway.

I'm curious as to what kind of recovery time-frame people may have experienced. How soon were you free of pain, and how soon were you back on a bike?

Topic-specific responses only please; I'm not looking for saddle recommendations.

I WILL KEEP THIS AS SERIOUS AS I CAN.
hmmm, I'm No doctor, but HAVE YOU ASKED THE DOCTOR???

I MEAN, THE QUESTION IS A GOOD ONE TO ASK AN EXPERT
OR AT LEAST THE PERSON WHO WORKED ON YOUR FUTURE.

There are issues here that the doctor can address and should have as any surgery. Recovery time, infection, exertion etc

I guess you don't need to worry about those ergo-saddles.

Hope you ride soon.

Vasectomy

Years ago, I started racing. I shaved my legs. I still do.

Years ago, I got a vasectomy. I shaved my boys. I still do.

Doc's advice

Of course I asked my doctor these questions. I'm finding that my recovery thus far has not been quite as he described it though, so I thought I'd check for other war stories here.

If you go to a gym, a recumbent trainer could tide you over.

Still laughing at your email address.
