"I've decided to sell my 2004 Lemond Maillot Jaune. It's a size 53 cm with a full Shimano Dura Ace 7700 group (except the crankset) and Mavic Ksyrium SSC SL wheelset. The crankset is an FSA carbon Pro Team Issue crankset, 53-38. I also have a 39 chainring that I will include with the bike. The bottom bracket is also FSA. The rest of the group is Shimano Dura Ace 7700.

The frame is a beautiful mix of carbon and steel. The ride is unbelievably silky smooth due to the steel headtube, downtube, bottom bracket area and chainstays. The top tube, seat tube and seatstays are made of OCLV carbon to lighten the frame and to absorb any road vibration that the steel doesn't. This bike is built for speed but yet is extremely comfortable. I've taken it on quite a few long club rides and actually did the A Classic Sig gradution ride with this bike up to Bear Mountain in May. The bike with Dura Ace pedals is 18 pounds for those of you interested in the weight.

This is my second bike so I hardly rode it, I would say I put about 1000 miles on this bike, mostly early in the year. Those of you who know me, know that I care for my bikes meticulously and this bike is no exception, it's in great condition. The frameset alone retails for $2,099.00 but I am asking $2,000.00 for the entire bike or any reasonable best offer. It is priced to sell.

Here is a run down on the rest of the bike's components:

Fork - Bontrager Race X Lite Carbon w/150 GSM carbon legs and crown
Headset - Chris King 1 1/8 NoThreadSet (the best headset out there)
Handlebars - ITM Millenium 42 cm (center to center) (only about 200 grams)
Stem - ITM Millenium (110 mm) (very light stem at only 140 grams)
Seat Post - Bontrager Race X Lite (matches the bike brilliantly and is light)
Saddle - Selle Italia SLR gel flow (very comfy and light at only around 180 grams)
Cassette - Shimano Dura Ace 12-25
Chain - Shimano Dura Ace 7700
Tires - Continental GP 3000 (no flats and fast)
Bottle Cages - Tacx (awesomely light, only 36 grams each)

You can check out the geometry at www.lemondbikes.com, go into archives and click on 2004 bikes. This bike will fit you if you are between 5'7 and 5'11.

Pedals not included but are for sale if you need them.

This is a great opportunity to get a high end bike for the price of a middle range ""so so"" road bike. I'd be happy to send pictures to anyone interested or to let anyone test ride the bike in Central Park. If you want more information or would like to see the bike in person, please email or call me at (917) 915-8444. Thanks for reading."
