since we now have *two* Ride Coordinator positions up for grabs I think it's useful to have some online commentary -- particularly from ride leaders -- about what they're looking for in a Ride Coordinator.

With regards to the RCs' style, I very much appreciate Wayne's tenure. Unpressured guidance (sans ego or politics) on what he wants to achieve. Thoughtful and supportive when I needed help.
In terms of the rides I'd like to see, I value preparation. If I do someone else's ride I like to see that they've thought up something original (or at least that they're a discerning plagiarist) and have scouted (or at least researched online) the route/destination.
