Due to a conflict with an “Adventure Cycling” meeting that several stalwart UAR participants would like to attend, this week’s UAR will be postponed one day until Thursday – weather permitting. Route TBD, but we are back in “fat tire” mode…

Thursday night notes
John emailed me that will out tomorrow night.
But if weather permits, I will lead a Bronx or Bklyn pizza run.
The meeting time would still be 7:00, but the meeting place will be in front of Tekserve; 119 West 23 Street -- just west of 6th Avenue.
Fat tires, front rear lighting and fenders should be de riguer.
Will post an update tomorrow 6PM-ish.

Hey Al,
That's right, you missed the ride a while back.
The nearest trains would be F @ Ave. U (a mile), the N @ 86th St., and the D @ 25th (??). The N is closest, 3 blocks from the pizza place is 86th St Stop - very large intersection, elevated train.
For reference, I get there by cycling down Ocean Pway from P Park, to Ave U, hang a right to W 10th St (Ocean Pway is E 6th, McDonald Ave with the F train is Street Zero). At W 10th make a left, one block to 86, a right and BAM!! 86th St. between W 10 and W 11 Streets. If you go straight passed Spumoni G on 86, 2-3 blocks is the elevated - N at 86.
