In order to get the file size down, I compressed the October web PDF quite heavily, which means the pictures have lost a lot of their colour intensity and look washed out. If anyone would like a copy of the full-size file, please e-mail me at the address above and I would be happy to send it. The file size is around 3 megs.

October Bulletin PDF
What happened to the minutes?
Geo,
Unfortunately, the one month I was missing didn't get to me before the deadline and I didn't want to publish minutes out of chronological order. I have since received that month and the minutes will go in the November bulletin.
Why not post them to the website, that we might see them before nominations close?
Geo,
Anthony spoke the truth when he said he did not have one of the sets of minutes before the deadline. As you know, as Secretary, I am responsible for taking notes at Board meetings and drafting the minutes. While I am quite diligent with respect to the former, the latter obviously has not been my strong suit.
On numerous occasions throughout my two-year tenure, I have been late in getting the minutes typed up, revised and submitted to Anthony. I sincerely apologize for the delay. It certainly was not intended to deprive you or any of the NYCC members of important information. I have no good excuse, except that I am a volunteer, have a busy life and do the best that I can.
However, the Secretary's job is not particularly time intensive, and the Club deserves someone who will perform the duties more promptly than I have been able to. I have already notified Stan that I will be stepping down as Secretary at the end of this term, so you will only have to put up with me for another couple of months.
Again, my apologies for the delay.
Kathy Jennings
Secretary
This is fine, and acceptable. I have no quarrel with Kathy.
Now, why haven't the minuites been posted by the editor on the website? The same access code as used for the pdf version of the Bulletin will prevent outsiders from reading them. This will enable the memberwship to read them before nominaztions close at the October meeting.
For the same reason they are not in the bulletin; see Kathy's response.
