"Hey all, I just posted this on Craigslist, and thought I would re-post here:
Macalu/Litespeed Titanium road bike--Ultegra Components--$600
This is a great road/race bike that I purchased new in 2000 for over $2,500.
Macalu is the brand name that Excel Sports in Boulder uses to sell these LiteSpeed-manufactured titanium frames.
This has been and continues to be a wonderful frame--light and stiff, but very responsive--especially with the Look carbon fork.
Overall the frame is in good shape with a little schmutz here and there, but no major flaws or damage.
Wheels and Components:
Everything is Shimano Ultegra STI Flight Deck compatible on this bike, except the headset (Ritchey). The derailleurs have some wear, but still function perfectly. The bike recently had a tune up, and was completely overhauled last summer.
The bars are Cinelli and the stem is ITM Millenium.
Thompson Elite seatpost (very nice) and Selle Italia Saddle (I also have a Fizik Pave Saddle I can include).
NO PEDALS
The wheels are Mavic: Cosmos on front (this is a mid-level wheel--nice and strong), and a very nice handbuilt wheel on back with a Mavic CXP-33 rim, Dura Ace hub, and black spokes. Vredestein Fortezza tires on both wheels.
Size: this is a 53cm frame, C-T (if I rembember correctly). I am 6 feet tall wtih about a 32"" inseam, and the frame is frankly too small for me.
That's all I can think of--the bike has miles on it, but I am positive it has many more left in it.
