The following has got to be somewhere on the message board, but it doesn’t jump out from any of the subject lines. Does anyone know what happened in the CRCA race on 8/13 when a pedestrian was struck and later died? Was s/he hit by the peloton, or by a single rider, or a small breakaway. Was the pedestrian wearing headphones and couldn’t hear warnings? Ever since another accident with the escort vehicle several years ago, CRCA has done a pretty diligent job re: marshalling.
