Does anyone know where I can buy 42 and 52 chainrings for a Shimano 105 triple? I really can't afford to buy the whole crankset, and I need chainrings with the beveling to let the chain shift smoothly between the 42 and the granny.

Shop recommendations welcome. If anyone has chainrings lying around, I'll make a fair offer, too.

thanks,

John M.

Evan,

Thanks. Wish I'd found this site sooner -- what have you bought from them?

nothing

"I searched for ""shimano chainrings 105"" at www.bestbikebuys.com, this is what showed up. I've never ordered from them."

LOL

I love searching for things on the interent.

Beats having to look things up in the phone book and calling someone!

What's a phone book?

(That was too easy.)

I needed to replace a chainring for an older RX-100 T (similar to 105) and found a generic one from Sugino at LooseScrews.com
