does anyone know of a safe route out to the hamptons from manhattan?
i am trying to ride out to bridgehampton on friday
please let me know if you know a good way to go without tons of traffic

Take The LIRR to Babylon then ride to Montauk and back to Bridge
Having done the NYC to East Hampton ride last year I should say it wasn't good till Babylon at least. Take the early train out then ride to Montauk, mileage is the same and the ride is MUCH nicer. And if you get tired your options are much better
