It seems like most foums these days are php.

A lot of the php forums allow you to create your own polls.
It might make sense for the NYCC to consider switching to a php based forum.
Oh, and as far as I can tell, it is free. I could not figure out how they make their money.

vbulletin was suggested a while back...
"...to give the nycc a mainstream, robust and easily managed system that anyone on the board can run. the nycc is fine for now, but when tim and peter decide they've had enough, the club is going to be hurting. best to stick to something mainstream so the club has options going forward.
