A19 105 miles 08:00 AM
Cold Spring via Harriman, Mine Rd., and Storm King
Leader: Mordecai Silver, [email protected], 212-677-3596
From: Central Park Boathouse
A scenic and very hilly route, taking in some great climbs in Rockland and Orange counties: Little Tor, Harriman, Perkins, Mine Rd., Storm King. Over the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge and down to Cold Spring for post-ride beer, ice cream, or what you please, before we take the train back to the city.
We will regroup after each major climb. There are bailouts along the way, notably at the Bear Mt. Bridge. Please bring a Metro-North pass.
----------------
Correction: I've finished the cue sheet, and the total mileage only comes to 100 miles, not 105.
We will make three stops: a brief stop at mile 29 (bagel shop on W. Nyack Rd.), lunch at mile 42 (N.Y. Brothers pizza/deli in Garnersville), and another stop at mile 67 (Foxes' Country Deli in Fort Montgomery)."

Forecast looks good
As of now, the forecast for Sunday looks pretty good, highs in the mid-eighties. I expect to see the bikers (species harleiana) out in force on Bear Mt. and Storm King.
