No Crab Fest -- Ride?
The weather is to iffy for a ride to City Island, so the crab fest is postponed until next week.
As for this evening's ride, it looks iffy for that as well. Light rain, we ride. Thunderstorms, no go.

Wet, dirty, ugly and scary

Actually a breathtaking cityscape heading down the Harlem River Drive. A vista of overlapping bridges lit by streetlights, auto head/tailights that was reflected off wet surfaces and overcast skies.
Like a scene from ""Metropolis"", ""Batman ... "" or ""Blade Runner"" -- particularly the last rainswept scenes."

Surreal
The light rain made the evening, along with a rock slide nobody knows about -- not quite the wall, but impressive nonetheless. Think of what the Greenway could be with a little visison -- green. We gotta find the caves in Highbridge Park that my mother has told me about.
