I'm have booked the private room at Blondie's for my annual TdF gig on Weds. July 13. It is a mountain day and should provide some good racing. There is no baseball that night so maybe we can get the front room. (The All-Star game is on Tues 7/12)

Good beer, NYC's best wings (bring the rolaids). Management asks all to have one check per table (not one per room nor one per person)
Tour De France Viewing - The Blondies Party July13
What time do you suggest showing up?
Primetime coverage starts at 8PM
In the past we have been crammed into that back room, has made for a fun fan based experience (rare for us cyclists) but we do run out of seats. Weds night is during the baseball All Star break so there are no games that night. They might let us spread out if the rest of the place is empty.
Michael,
Thanks for arranging this again this year. It's always fun to watch with a big group.

How about Blondies for 7/15 and 7/16? Will they be showing it, and at what time... Thanks!
if enough people turn up and the back room is open they will accomodate. Best to try the earlier showings.
I can host a few people in my apt on Sun morning
Also note the Club Spl Event for July will take place @ Park Avenue Country Club on Tues, July 19th. Details will be in the July bulletin and upcoming e weeklys.
Where is Blondie's?

Best wings around too
It would have been hot to see yesterday's stage somewhere. Wonder if they do any kind of recap that's worth getting there early for -- I would just like to see Armstrong's accelerations, if only on TV. Cyclingnews.com, wonderful feed that it is, I suspect just doesn't do it justice.
Looking forward to it. Thanks for organizing.

The next rest day should have a good recap of it all. I watched it at home (been spending way too much time with OLN lately), it was awesome.... and it does look like Armstrong let him have the stage... didn't hand it over but didn't claw it back either.
The newsflashes so far make tonight look like good racing.
