looking for a steel christophe platform clip--the type that attaches to the underside of either the campy or christophe platform pedal, with some fore & aft adjustment. (not a traditional quill pedal, or the shimano platform pedal).

yellow jersey has replacements, but at $50 !!!!!

size large, ideally. prefer the steel christophe, to the aluminum campy, but grateful for either.

time to hunt through the old parts box.
many thanks!

You're talking about the Campy Aero model... Good luck.

Icycles.com had them for $4.95 about 6 months ago. They're out now, though. Perhaps the CR list?

Perhaps you can just buy the boy some clipless pedals? I'll long term loan/swap you some Frogs, if you can find me some sandal-suitable pedals for my commuter.

josh has lovely campy NR pedals, and he ain't giving 'em up.

these pedals came off a peugeot many many years ago, and are on my fixed gear radac. can't complain, as these toe clips are at least 18 years old.

will try the CR list. maybe serotta list, too. sure RS has some NOS campy aero clips squirelled away.

"""Aero"" toeclips"

"""looking for a steel christophe platform clip--the type that attaches to the underside of either the campy or christophe platform pedal, with some fore & aft adjustment.""

As far as I know Christophe didn't make pedals. But speaking of things French, I do have a pair of Maillard platform pedals with vertical bolts for the clips on my touring bike.

""yellow jersey has replacements, but at $50 !!!!!

The Yellow Jersey website shows Campagnolo ""aero"" chromed toeclips for $40, aluminum for $50.

Try the CR list or eBay (seller ""banana brain"" often has this kind of thing).

I also have to look for a piece of Campagnolo ""aero"" equipment: a water bottle. The other week, on a bit of rough pavement, my Campagnolo ""aero"" bottle popped out of the front ""aero"" cage, and before I could retrieve it, it was run over by a car.
