George Washington Bridge Challenge
On June 5th we will be riding in the American Cancer Society's 18th Annual George Washington Bridge Challenge, a non-competitive event for walkers, runners and cyclists who accept the challenge of fighting cancer.
Did you know that in the United States, cancer causes one in every four deaths. The reality is, at some point we're all affected by cancer and that's why we've joined this effort and need your support. Please support us and the fight against cancer by:

I had the displeasure of riding across the bridge last year during this event, against the flow, and was ticketed for not getting off my bike and walking.

The bridge ride was on the lower level main roadway, not the bike path, so your report of inconvenience does not make sense. Anyway, since it is for a worthy cause, perhaps a little consideration on you part would be called for.
